Cassidy's in the hospital

Cassidy's umbilical cord stump became infected this past week and as of today in the wee morning hours, she's at Children's Hospital for a couple days of antibiotics. She also needs to have some strange spots on her fingers checked tomorrow because the admitting doctor didn't know what they are. I haven't heard anything new related to Nick, so I guess that means Breanna hasn't either. A Marine Sergeant was supposed to let her know when anything was decided about him. (The civilian court was going to inform him.)

I think reality is catching up with Breanna. She seemed exhausted, stressed, and discouraged this past week. She made an appointment to see Jennifer, the counselor, for tomorrow, but I don't know if she can keep it now due to the baby's situation. If she can't go, maybe I'll take her appointment instead. I think I have the grandma's version of postpartum depression! It's hard to see Breanna struggle, though I knew she would. Please keep us all in your prayers.
