update and urgent prayer request

I'll keep posting baby news and pictures on the Cassidy blog, saving other family developments for this blog.

I've been intending to post a prayer request related to Nick's impeding release from custody. Breanna found out recently that Nick's court marshal was to be this week Tuesday. She got a call Tuesday afternoon (in the hospital) about the outcome: he was to be discharged from the Marines almost immediately and turned over to the civil authorities to answer for his probation violation. As far as I know, Bree didn't hear anything further. Now it's Friday night, 3/16, and Bree just called to say she's getting text messages from Nick so she's calling the cops to report it. I fear that this means Nick has already been released from the county jail and is on the street. PLEASE pray that he just goes away, or gets apprehended again for this new breach of the restraining order. And of course, please pray for Breanna's and Cassidy's safety. And for Dave and me to best know how to advise her and care for her. She's in the midst of postpartum emotional craziness, she's exhausted, and the baby has her days and nights mixed up! She sleeps most of the day and fusses through the night. They've been at Christie's house since Wednesday night, as they were released from the hospital that afternoon. Tonight Breanna wanted to stay over here, but she's not here yet and it's almost 10. Last I knew she was at my parents' house visiting, when I got the call about Nick sending text messages. Now I'm just waiting for her to get here........ Thankfully, Dave has returned from his business trip. He always knows what to do in a crisis. But he's quite beat from his trip... This could be a long night/weekend.....
