New Prayer Request

Hi, friends and family...

I have an important prayer request on behalf of my sister, Lori. She had a lumpectomy today for a breast tumor, which was just discovered a few weeks ago. It turned out to be larger than was thought at first, and two lymph nodes tested positive for cancer. She'll be in the hospital overnight and go home tomorrow. My mom and dad and younger sister are all in town with her (she lives near San Francisco) for several days. I'll go up to visit her this Saturday, and go with her to her post-op appointment next Monday. I'll fly home on Tuesday, if everything goes as planned.

So please pray for Lori and all that lies ahead for her recuperation. She will have to undergo chemo and radiation. Next Monday we'll know more specifics.
