Fall '08

Highlights of my Fall season........

• Charger football on TV (a few highlights, mostly low-lights!)
• Friday Happy Hours with girlfriend, Kelly, and other friends
• Finally finishing unpacking boxes in my house. Still purging garage stuff....
• North Coast Church's "Weekend of Service." Breanna and I painted doors together at an elementary school.
• Mom has a 2nd successful cataract surgery.
• Toured the Queen Mary with Dan.
• Halloween - Cassidy dressed up as a fairy.
• Attending an Esquire House Party with Julie in Hollywood. I'd never been in a $15 million house before! Colbie Caillat performed, among others.
• November 13: my divorce is final.
• Janie comes over for tea and girl talk every other Wednesday morning.
• Thanksgiving: family came to my house for clam dip and football (watching, not playing). Then we ate out at Mimi's Cafe for turkey dinner. It was yummy, but the restaurant was crowded and noisy and running late on reservations. We won't go there again.
• Ray helped me put up outdoor Christmas lights--for my first time ever. We did pretty white icicles with a row of blue lights at the top. I'm the first house in the neighborhood with lights!

That brings me up to the moment. I'm doing well, and have many blessings to be thankful for. Brenden has been especially good company for me lately; he brought his guitar over yesterday and played his original music for me. Very, very nice.
