Summer '08

Highlights of my summer...

• Sunday afternoons at the beach with Cassidy.


• San Diego County Fair with a friend, Ray. Have you ever seen a turkey stampede? Hilarious!


• BOTH Bree and Bren taking summer school classes at the local community college.


• "Sisters Weekend" in San Francisco with Julie and Lori (end of June). Wonderful restaurants and a fun wine-tasting cruise on SF Bay.


• "Girls Gone Wine" nights at Friar's Folly with Priscilla and various other girlfriends


• A MAJOR computer crash in July... lost five months worth of data (but I thought I'd lost more than that, so I'm grateful)


• Seeing "Phantom of the Opera" in San Diego with a new friend, Dan. Fabulous!


• Fun times with various Orange County friends: Bob H. (Professor Bob); Robert C. (pancreatic cancer victor); Celeste J. (long-time girlfriend)


• Watching pre-season Charger football games with my buddy, Bill (who's also my landlord).


• "Les Miserables" at the Moonlight Amphitheater with Ray.


• Hiring a paralegal to help me finish divorce paperwork. (It kept getting sent back!)


• Julie's birthday, Sept. 18. Both Lori and Julie were both in town for fun and fattening family times!

The year is flying by but I'm making the most of it. Lots to do during a Southern California summer!
