Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Dear friends and family~

I'm thoroughly enjoying the Christmas season thus far. I have holly garlands on my banisters and other places; tons of Christmas candles around; and today Dan took me to get my Christmas tree. I'll decorate it this weekend.

Last Saturday was fun. Celeste and I met in Laguna Beach and went to the Winter Fantasy Sawdust Festival. Lots of wonderful arts and crafts. Then a yummy Italian dinner, as the sun set and the town lit up with tons of Christmas lights. After dinner, walking back to the cars, we encountered some street musicians, three playing guitars, one on bongos. They sounded good so we stopped and ended up singing classic rock songs with them! A memorable day and evening.

Most of my Christmas shopping is done, and some of the gifts are actually wrapped. Tomorrow is Rick and Nathalie Garcia's annual ornament exchange party. Always tons of fun.

I'm looking forward to both Lori and Julie being in town for Christmas. Looks like mom and dad will host the celebrations and feasts. Not sure what we'll do for New Year's.

I wish you and yours a fabulous Christmas season and a wonderful year in 2009. Please keep in touch and know that you're in my thoughts, even when we're apart.

Love,
~Kim
